I have always loved the ‘hunt’ for the right candidate!

I’m one of the Founding Directors of Carrera. I have the privilege of managing a number of our key accounts as well as mentoring our ‘fearless’ consulting team.

After a successful career in FMCG sales with Cadbury Schweppes and National Foods which spanned 15 years, I took an opportunity to move into recruitment in 1995 and led the national consumer goods team for a large recruitment company in Sydney for 12 years. In 2002 I joined forces with Michael Floyd and Carrera was born. From day 1 we stirred up the market with a new approach to recruitment and have continued to lead and innovate with a strong focus on collaborative partnerships and hiring great people.

I am extremely proud to have played a significant role in building and maintaining our reputation as a highly trusted partner and advisor to both clients and candidates. Many of these relationships have spanned the duration we have been in business, with numerous candidates going on to become clients.

I have always loved the ‘hunt’ for the right candidate! This requires really knowing your client’s business and team inside out to ensure I find the candidate that possesses the skills and experience required by the business along with the right fit from a cultural and values perspective. I continue to get a lot of satisfaction from seeing candidates that I have helped secure a new role become successful and go on to advance their careers.
